Beechen Miniature Horse Stud is a small family run business situated near Winchester within the Meon Valley countryside.
Established in 2001 breeding all types of riding/family ponies and horses however in the last year we have specialised in breeding miniature horses.
We have 4 children who are all actively involved in the daily upkeep and care of our mini’s. Our eldest daughter has recently passed The Horse Management College Course at Sparsholt Agriculture College. Jay our son is involved with the breaking and driving of our mini’s whilst the youngest daughters Megan & Jodi aged 8 & 7 enjoy the showing, foaling and care of the miniature horses.

Our first and most challenging miniature horse purchase was our Falabella Colt “Toyhorse Dominorico” He has turned out to be our most rewarding and lovable miniature and he is the bases of our stud and breeding programme
. 
The aim of Beechen Miniature Horse Stud is to breed quality miniature horses with excellent temperament and movement who can be enjoyed both in showing world and also in the family environment.
All of our horses love to have visitors so everyone is welcome. If you are looking for a miniature to show, drive or just love as a family friend we are confident that will we help you find something suitable.
If you would like us to show produce your miniatures, look after your mares or cover them with our stallions, please contact us. We take mares with foals at foot. All at very reasonable rates. Our foaling boxes have CCTV cameras and sound monitoring and we provide 24 hours care as we live on site.
2011 we joined in with the local carnival which was great fun. We had a competition to name the foal, which raised money towards our local school.
